The Porsche Cayman S is a sport coupe based off the Boxster platform.
The Cayman is a two passenger coupe that features that comes in two trims: Base and S. The Base is powered by a 245 hp 2.7-liter six-cylinder engine. A five-speed manual is standard. The S trim comes with a 295 hp 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine mated to a standard six-speed manual. Both trims have the option of a Tiptronic S five-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features on all models include six airbags, antilock brakes, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and antilock brakes. An optional safety feature for the Cayman S is the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).
The Cayman S is distinct from the Cayman in its front lip spoilers and dual-tube tailpipe design.
